Kateřina Klementová graduated from the Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice as a teacher of Czech and English. Currently she is an external PhD student of the programme English Language and Literature in a Didactic Perspective at the Faculty of Education Charles University. Her dissertation topic is "21st century ESP: time to focus on teacher education".

Other interests: translational analysis, the language of news media, English language skills in the workplace, teacher training in English for specific purposes
